1. Pumpkin pie. Do you make it yourself or buy one already made?
I made it myself completely from scratch one time with the help of my now ex-boyfriend who forgot to put the eggs in the pie, but we managed to get it out of the oven in time and save it. Since then, I haven’t made pumpkin pie from scratch. I was watching Food Network the other day, though, and saw that Bobby Flay made a really good looking pie, so I might have to try again- only this time, I’ll use the canned pumpkin.
2. Where are you eating Thanksgiving dinner this year?
At my boyfriend’s aunt and uncle’s house in Virginia. We’re leaving sometime tonight to drive down there, actually.
The rest of my family is going out to dinner for Thanksgiving. Personally, I wanted to cook at home, but also liked the idea of getting away for a few days, so my parents and I are going to have a little Thanksgiving dinner when we get back from the trip.
3. Turkey. Do you like white meat or dark meat?
I don’t eat meat, but when I did I liked the white meat better.
4. What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?
All of the side dishes: buttermilk mashed potatoes with gravy, baked sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce… Yum.
