Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?
I would rather wear the same thing all week and be able to shower everyday. If I go even overnight without washing my hair, it looks horrible and is hard for me to style. Plus, I have a few outfits that I love and could wear all week if I had to.
If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?
The Real Housewives of NJ. Living in one of the infamous NJ mini-mansions would be nice, but I would also love an opportunity to break the NJ stereotypes that show supports. Here’s one, for example: What’s up with the so-called “Jersey” accent that a lot of actors/actresses put on whenever NJ has to be represented in movies and TV shows? I would reckon to say that 95% of the time, people from NJ do not sound that way. From what I’ve seen and heard, the Jersey accent that you might hear in movies and TV shows sounds more like a Staten Island accent than anything.
Name two things you consider yourself to be very good at.
Cooking and driving- but, hell, those are basic skills. I don’t accept the “oh I’m not good at cooking” excuse from people. Like any other skill, cooking is really not that difficult once you learn a few basic techniques. Everyone should know how to prepare a few good meals because it can be expensive (and unhealthy) to go out to eat all of the time and personal chefs aren’t practical for the “average” person. I’m done ranting, now.
Name two things you consider yourself to be bad at.
Sports and forgetting about things- I tend to hold grudges for a long time.
Name one thing not many people know about you.
I’ll fight and give my time to the people I think are worth it, but don’t mistake my kindness for weakness- I have a firey temper when provoked.

What’s the most embarrassing song on your iPod (or music collection)?
I never thought of any music as “embarrassing,” although there are guilty pleasures that one may have. Select songs by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are some of my guilty pleasures… lol.
How much time do you spend each day in your commute? (Or if you don’t work outside the house, how much time do you spend in your car or other preferred mode of transportation?)
I go to school three days a week this semester and, depending on traffic, it takes anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half to get there. It’s about 60 miles, one way. With other driving also factored in, I would say that I drive about 500 miles a week.
What’s your favorite wardrobe item and why?
I’m loving my short-sleeved “Love Kills Slowly” Ed Hardy shirt and the long-sleeved Joker shirt that my cousin bought me for Christmas. I wear them together pretty often now. I also wear my Rider hoodie at least a few times during the week, and I am a sucker for Crocs; I have four or five pairs of them.

Do you have any idiosyncrasies or unusual quirks when it comes to food and/or eating?
I use my fork and knife almost always, and I like to smell things before I eat or drink them.
Have you ever written love letters? If so, do you still have any of them?
I have a funny one I made for Trent Reznor, but I can’t find where it is on my computer.
How easy or difficult is it for you to say you’re sorry?
No matter who you are, I think it’s always difficult to admit when you fucked up. I find to be especially difficult, though, when someone blames me for something I didn’t do. It creates an interesting situation where I have to weigh the options: Is it worth it to defend myself, or should I cut the bullshit and make peace? Sometimes it doesn’t pay to argue with someone who is just that thickheaded and doesn’t “get it.” At the same time, apologizing for nothing almost hurts more than being blamed for nothing.

What is the biggest mistake you made in 2008 and will not make again in 2009?
I’m working on being more straight-forward with myself and emotions. It’s hard to say that I won’t be indecisive in 2009 because it seems to just be an aspect of life – an aspect of dealing with difficult situations, in particular – but I’m trying, nonetheless. The last decade (well, nearing a decade) has been crazy on so many levels. I can only hope that every year to come is somewhat better than the last.
Do you make New Year’s resolutions? Why or why not?
I make New Year’s resolutions, but they are often so general and things I like to strive for anyway (i.e. maintaining good grades) that I don’t really think about them intently.
Who do you nominate as “Man or Woman of the Year” for 2008?
Well, as far as I am concerned, Trent Reznor is the man of my life.
I can’t say that Trent would be the man of the year exclusively, even though it was a good year for him, with the tours and the massive album releases.
Anyway… One of the biggest and most exciting news stories of the year was the 2008 presidential election, which seemed to capture people on a massive level whether they were interested in politics or not. There were two strong Democratic party candidates, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who I am satisfied to say will both have new leadership roles in the government as of January 2009, a few short weeks away. If anybody, I would have to say the two of them would be good (albeit obvious) candidates for “Man or Woman of the Year”, respectively.
What was your greatest accomplishment in 2008?
Kicking ass in school; 3.5 cumulative GPA, honors program, leadership role in FBLA…
