Saturday 9: Working in the Coalmines

1. What is your job and do you like it?
Currently unemployed. Going to start working at the Halloween store again, which was fun last year and should be good this year, too.

2. What to you do to unwind after work?
Watch some TV and sleep.

3. Who have you known the longest of your friends?
There are some people that I am Facebook friends with that I have known since elementary school and graduated high school with. I still talk to a few of them on a semi-regular basis.

4. Who do you go to for advice?
My handful of good friends.

5. Not counting your current relationship, how many times have you been in love?
One other time, maybe.

6. What is you favorite snack food?
Chips and dip.

7. What is the best meal you ate this week?
Not the meal I had tonight, that is for certain. It was pathetic and not worth the money. I wouldn’t be so livid, but lately I have had no luck when going out to dinner. Either the service is pathetic, or the food is pathetic, or both are pathetic. Ughhhh. I just would like to go out and have one fucking nice meal at a restaurant sometime soon!!!!!!!11

8. What to you is the most important factor in romantic attraction?
I like being able to have fun with the person I am with and go special places every once in a while.

9. What do you think is your worst habit?
Probably nail biting or cursing.

Saturday 9: The Lazy Days of Summer

1. What is your favorite summer drink?
Homemade lemonade or limeade made with club soda instead of water so it is all fizzy and tasty. :yummy:

2. What is the best summer sport to play?
I used to play a lot of badminton in the back yard when I was a kid.

3. What’s the best summer sport to watch?
Baseball, hands-down. Baseball season is one of the best times of the year.

4. Do you like the ocean, the pool or the lake?
The pool.

5. Some folks drink whiskey in the winter and gin, tequila (margaritas) or rum drinks in the summer. Does you alcohol of choice change?
I shouldn’t be answering this one.

6. What is your favorite summer song?
I don’t think I really have one…

7. What was your best summer growing up? How old were you and why was it best?
My summers were generally good when my family and I planned and went on a lot of day trips.

8. Have you ever had a summer romance that you knew would end?
Nope. No summer flings for me.

9. How old were you when you first went skinny-dipping? Who were you with?
I have actually never been skinny-dipping. There were a few times when I had bathing suit mishaps and almost lost the top or bottom part of my bathing suit, but that wasn’t intentional. Haha.

Saturday 9: We Travel Well

1. What part of the world and country do you live in?
North America – United States – Pennsylvania

2. What is the furthest from home that you have been, and where is it?
The furthest from home that I have been was probably either the Bahamas or Scotland.

3. What travel destination have you enjoyed the most?
I had a great time when I went to England and Scotland in 2005 with the marching band, my dad, and uncle.

4. What travel destination have you enjoyed the least?
The beaches were nice in the Bahamas, but overall it was a little too hot for my liking. The vacation I took with my parents to Ocean City, Maryland could have been better, too. We were with another group of people who rushed us around the whole time, and most of the trip wasn’t enjoyable because of that.

5. Is there somewhere you’d like to visit but have not, and where is it?
I would love to go to Ireland and Norway, just because I am part Irish and I love Norway for some reason…

6. Do you prefer traveling to see historic places or to hit the beach and relax?
A combination of both. We saw a lot of famous landmarks in England and Scotland, but some of the things really didn’t interest me. After a while I wanted to explore the cities by myself and find something else to do.

7. What popular vacation destination have you never considered because you think you’d not like it?

8. Where do you travel to most recently?
Josh and I went to the beach last Tuesday. It was hot as hell, and we had to lug all of our beach stuff about a half mile through the hills of sand while fighting off flies and mosquitoes in the meantime. Talk about a work out. Afterwards we went to the boardwalk and had a better time. Personally, I think I would skip the beach altogether the next time and hit up the boardwalk instead.

9. Do you like day trip “mini-vacations”?
I love day trips!

Saturday 9: My Favorite Things

1. What is your favorite thing to do alone?
Play The Sims 2

2. What is your favorite thing to do with your best friend?
Hang out and have a coffee, or hit the boardwalk.

3. What is your favorite band?
Nine Inch Nails since 2001.

4. What is your favorite song?
Currently Passive by A Perfect Circle. The demo version was called “Vacant” and it was supposed to be a Tapeworm song, the band that never really was involving the super-duo M. Keenan and El Rezzo.

5. What is you favorite part of your job?
Currently unemployed, but I will say that the best job that I ever had was at the Halloween store when I had to dress up and stand outside to lure everyone in the store by handing out coupons and wearing fishnets and slutty platform pumps. Those were the days. Not much more longer now until I resume those active duties…

6. What is your favorite TV show that is on now?
I have been into the various CSI and Law and Order spin-offs lately. I generally watch them right before bed, or instead of going to bed and well into the morning hours, and they are almost-always entertaining.

7. What is your favorite TV show of all time?
That’s a tough one, but I think I would have to say The Simpsons. I don’t think there has ever been a bad, or boring, episode; it’s consistently funny and entertaining.

8. Who is your favorite actor?
Currently Heath Ledger, because he was just too amazing for words in The Dark Knight. I thought I was going to be all about Christian Bale, but Heath Ledger totally stole the movie. It was amazing.

9. What is your favorite film?
Currently The Dark Knight. I saw it around 12:30am on Friday morning and I might go see it again tomorrow afternoon.
