Well, I didn’t get to post a new set of questions on Friday, as anticipated, but here they are. Better late than never

The Weekly Musing #9
I just saw Julie & Julia yesterday with my honey, so I am kind of in the mood to talk about food. (Truthfully, I’m always in the mood to talk about food, but I try to change it up the topic every so often…
)
- What is your favourite kind of ice cream sundae?
- A famous chef is going to come to your home to give you a private cooking lesson! (Hypothetically speaking, of course…) Which chef would you want to visit?
- If you could visit any restaurant in the world (it doesn’t matter if it’s well-known and expensive; it can be casual and locally-known, if you choose) which restaurant would you visit? What would you eat?
- Is there a complex recipe that you have been meaning to learn/try, but haven’t yet?
Feel free to comment with your responses and/or repost the Musing on your own page. I look forward to reading what you have to say!
I anticipate being busy this weekend, so I am going to try to have the new The Weekly Musing questions posted by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Keep in mind that I would love question submissions and topic ideas, so please submit some if you have any in mind!!

The Weekly Musing #8
Let’s talk about relationships. If you have a partner (husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend…), talk about your relationship with that person; if you don’t currently have a partner, or don’t wish to talk about that person, feel free to talk about a past partner, an ideal partner, or best friend; I’ll make these questions appropriate and general enough so they can be answered if you choose to talk about your best friend.
- First off: Who is the person you are answering these questions about? How did you two meet and how long have you known eachother?
I’m going to answer these questions about my good friend, Dawn. We met in high school- I think it was sophomore year.
- What one word or phrase comes to mind when you think about this person?
Tall, lol. (She’s 6′0” or 6′1”.) Aside from that, supportive also comes to mind.
- Describe your ideal day or weekend outing with this person if money, time, and space weren’t factors.
I had a good time when we went to A.C. with the guys in May. I think if we go to Vegas next year like we’ve been talking about, it’s gonna be even better.
- Share a funny experience you had with this person.
Recently we went shopping and we were trying on clothes in seperate dressing rooms. When I was putting my shirt back on, the zipper got stuck and ate about 1/2in of the fabric on my shirt. When I tell you it was stuck, it was really stuck; I generally have an easy time getting it off, but this time was an exception. I had to call her in to try to help me, and we wrestled with this stupid stuck zipper for what seemed like a good 15 to 20mins, all while making jokes.

I posted this over a month or so ago, but I’m going to finally respond and post a new set of questions. Feel free to comment if you do post any TWM questions on your blog; I want to know if anyone actually does them, it doesn’t matter when they’re posted, either.

The Weekly Musing #7
This week, let’s continue with the topic of summer.
- During the summertime when the weather is not-so-nice (i.e. constant RAIN… ugh) and everyone is stuck indoors, what kind of indoor activities keep you occupied?
Video games and watching movies are both fun, but I feel like a lazy bum after sitting around for a long time. Cooking is another activity that keeps me occupied, and working on my massive scrapbook/cookbook.
- Describe the best (or worst) summer job you have held.
The worst one that I can think of was when I was about 15 or 16 years old and working at a local Italian restaurant/pizzeria that has since changed owners. I was getting paid about $4 or $5 an hour and worked my ass off as an all-around servant/busgirl bitch while the one waiter on staff (I was never formally “promoted” to a waitress, although I worked harder than the one waiter did) took all the tips, occasionally remembering to give me a small portion of it. So at the end of a few hours, I only walked out with $20 or so. That sucked…
- Do you prefer to take day trips or long vacations? Why?
Day trips are generally easier to take because they allow for you to see a bunch of places over the course of a few short trips, and they generally require less money than a long vacation.
- Have you ever taken an impromptu road trip? If so, describe your experience. If not, describe your ideal trip.
I would like to travel out to the West Coast one of these days, since I’ve never been there…
