Fuchsia-Revolver.org (also referred to as F-R.org or frorg from time-to-time) has been on the web since July 2002. The name was the product of a brainstorm that a friend and I had one night while we were thinking of names for her new personal project. When the name “fuchsia revolver” came up during our conversation, and I instantly liked the sound of it and decided to register it as my second domain. The newly-registered Fuchsia-Revolver became the new home for my weblog and the rest, as they say, is history. Find out more about what makes this site possible.
Is Fuchsia-Revolver an actual organization? Does the name have a symbolic meaning?
No organization or symbolism here. My 13-year-old self thought it sounded cool and my 20-something self still liked it, so I stuck with it over the years.
Just so you know, other domains that I own link link here, too, including annacparks.com, which appears on my personal business cards. Rest assured, if you’ve arrived here from one of those sites then you’re in the right place!
What do you blog about?
Historically? Anything and everything, but as things evolved over the years I narrowed my focus to primarily posting about marketing and food — two things that take a dominant role in my life, the former because it is what I do for a living and the latter because it is a passion.
In June 2016, I created From Anna’s Kitchen, a new blog dedicated to food and entertaining. Read more about the launch of that project. I will still blog here from time-to-time, but in the future this site will mainly serve as a portfolio page to showcase my writing and work in marketing.
Note that I accept sponsored posts and advertisements from time to time. For more information, see my site wide disclosure policy and privacy policy. If you are representing a business with a great product or service that I might be interested in writing about, visit my advertising and sponsorship page for more information on how we might be able to work together.
