Introducing From Anna’s Kitchen

Although I love marketing, at times it can feel like it’s just my day job that pays the bills. Food is a real passion of mine, something I have dedicated much of my time writing about and doing for many years. Some of my first experiences in the kitchen starting when I was just 5 years old, when I would bake with my grandma when she would visit us from Florida.

For that reason, I’m excited to introduce my new project and blog: From Anna’s Kitchen.

Creating From Anna’s Kitchen is a natural evolution of where this blog, which I started around 2002, has headed in recent years.  A majority of my posts, even if they were few and far between at times as I was completing my undergraduate and graduate years of college and had other life events, focused on food.

The name is self-explanatory: simple, easy to remember, and personal. Rather than doing an overhaul of this site, I decided that it might be better to have a fresh start with a new domain and a new WordPress installation.

As for Fuchsia Revolver, relevant blog posts will be transitioned to the new domain. I’m reviewing and refreshing the content so I don’t have to totally reinvent the wheel on some topics. Eventually, I would like to turn this site into a simple portfolio/resume site. I have already archived many of my personal blog posts that go back to when I was 13 or 14-years-old; many of them have already been marked as private or weeded though and re-posted, so that will be another activity that will continue to happen as time goes along.

Right now, though, I’m going to focus the majority of my blogging time and energy on the new page. I also set up a Twitter account for the blog; an Instagram page may be in store for the future, too.

fromannaskitchen.com is live and I am so excited to share it with you. I hope you’ll stop by and give it some love in the same way you have for Fuchsia Revolver over the years.
